Movie Nights Every Friday & Saturday Night

During our camping season, we play movies every Friday and Saturday night. We're excited to announce that we've added a concession stand at the RAC, where you can enjoy complimentary popcorn as well as purchase soda and candy. We look forward to providing you with a memorable movie-viewing experience!

Oktoberfest 2025

Oktoberfest is the perfect opportunity to make new friends and reconnect with old ones. Join us as we celebrate this cherished tradition that began in Munich in 1810. On October 12th that year, the future King Ludwig married Princess Therese von Sachen-Hildburghausen, and they invited the entire city to attend the lively celebration, which featured a grand feast and exciting horse races. Campground Guest Yard Sale Saturdays

Exciting News at the Des Moines West KOA! We're thrilled to announce a new opportunity for our campground guests! Starting this April, every 3rd Saturday of the month (from 10:30am-2pm), you can set up a table in front of your campsite to sell family-friendly items. Whether it's handmade crafts, gently used treasures, or other fun finds, it's a great way to share with fellow campers and visitors! Details:
- When: 3rd Saturday of every month (April–October)
- Time: 10:30am – 2:00pm
- Where: In front of your campsite at the Des Moines West KOA
