Fryeburg Fair, Maine's Blue Ribbon Classic, is a fall spectacular in New England! Maine's largest agricultural fair, it runs annually during the first week of October, featuring livestock, harness racing, and entertainment. WINDJAMMER DAYS!

Windjammer Days is a festival held every year in the last week of June in the Boothbay Region of Maine to commemorate the enormous sailing ship known as the ‘windjammer.' This year, it takes place from June 21 to June 27. Providing all ancient boat lovers with a fun way to begin their summer, the Windjammer Days events cover an entire spectrum — from maritime tours to antique boat parades to live music on the shore. They kick off this event with the Blessing of the Fleet tradition, which is celebrated internationally too.

YARMOUTH CLAM FESTIVAL

What began in 1965 as a local clambake has grown into Maine's largest free-admission festival, drawing more than 100,000 visitors each year. Behind the scenes, hundreds of volunteers work together to create a weekend full of food, entertainment, and meaningful community impact.The town of Yarmouth hosts this festival every year, just 8 miles from the campground! Have a fun filled day of arts, crafts, music, competition events (running and bike races), clams and melted butter, parade, live music, and carnival rides!

MOXIE FESTIVAL!

The Moxie Festival is held in Lisbon Falls, (6 miles from the campground). Moxie is the unique New England soft drink. Moxie was first marked as a patent medicine in 1876 in Lowell, Massachusetts. It was guaranteed to cure multiple ills. Enjoy the parade, bike rally, 5K run, food court, Moxie Chug-n-Challenge, carnival rides, river race, and fireworks!

Visitors flock to Maine from around the globe to enjoy our world class seafood, and Maine oysters are no exception. Celebrate this tasty and environmentally critical bivalve with us in Freeport!
There are now more than 150 oyster farms dotting Maine's 3,500 mile long coastline. Oysters grow slowly in Maine's cold waters, and that gives them more time to soak up the flavors in their home waters. Differences in the food they eat as well as the temperature and salinity of the water produce a wide variety of flavor characteristics from farm to farm. The Maine Oyster Festival celebrates oysters and the people who farm them from up and down the entire Maine coast!

NORTH ATLANTIC BLUES FESTIVAL!

The North Atlantic Blues Festival is an annual two-day blues music festival featuring national blues performers and considered one of the most prestigious on the East Coast. The festival is held at the Public Landing in Rockland, Maine, overlooking the picturesque Rockland Harbor. Some of the top names in blues music are featured. In addition to all-day live entertainment, the festival has vendors selling a wide array of food, drinks, and crafts. Spend the day in the historic seaside town and enjoy the music of great artists!
