Paint-A-Magnet Saturdays!

At 7pm during the Summer season you'll find a Yellow Shirt team member at the Red Pavilion with paintable magnets for sale at $5 each. This fun activity provides 4 paint colors of your choice, a brush, and water to clean your brushes. For every $5 magnet sold $2.50 is Donated to KOA Care Camps. These magnets are a great way to bring a memento for your camping memories home with you or as a gift to a loved one!

KOA Big Weekend

This location participates in the KOA Big Weekend event, and during this wonderful event, we provide the first showing of Family Movie Night at 6 pm with snacks and water! Although our Paint-A-Magnet Donation event happens every Saturday all Summer long, during this event, we host and paint magnets from 2 pm - 4 pm. Night vision

This is a family friendly christian festival that features top christian bands, artists, and speakers. This event is family friendly and children can have fun in the kids corner where they can play games and do crafts.

Colorado Stampede

As part of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), the Stampede features a full lineup of rodeo events, including bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping, and barrel racing. This exciting event brings together top athletes from across the country, offering spectators a high-energy and family-friendly experience. With a festive atmosphere, live entertainment, and a strong connection to western heritage, the Colorado Stampede is a must-see for rodeo enthusiasts and anyone looking to experience the thrill of the Wild West.

Family Movie Night

Join us for S'mores, Stars & Cinema — our favorite summer tradition at the campground! Gather around as the sun sets and enjoy a cozy outdoor movie night under the open sky. Market on Main Downtown Grand Junction

Everyone loves a farmers market! Our team at the Grand Junction KOA would love to extend the invitation to you and yours to attend one of the area's "summertime signature" events. Our farmers market Starts on July and will be occurring weekly on Thursdays. The Market on Main is full of wonderful experiences. It's full of farm-fresh fruits and veggies, mouth-watering homemade goodies, and the wonderful sounds of local musicians. Not only can you experience one of the area's most popular events, but you can also visit some or all of the small local businesses located on Main Street. If you are hungry, there are also a wide array of delicious restaurants and cafes. Downtown is a short 4 mile drive from the Campground with parking lots lining the area.

Colorado Mountain Wine Festival

Colorado Mountain Winefest has been the premier Colorado wine celebration in the state of Colorado, bringing dozens of local wineries to celebrate our award-winning wines and growing industry.With over 50 Colorado wineries in attendance and a few thousand close friends to share unlimited sips, it's the kind of perfect day that makes everyone wish they lived here. This event in Riverbend Park features live entertainment, wine samples, a commemorative tasting glass, wine tote and the chance to buy wine directly from the winemakers. 

Palisade Peach Festival

Tour of the Moon
