Greensboro Coliseum and Aquatic Center are easily accessed from our campground and host a variety of events including concerts by today's most popular performers spanning all genres of music. Other events include the Central Carolina fair, Dog shows, sporting events, Monster Truck Madness, Circus shows, PBR Bull Riding, Disney on Ice, and conferences. Don't forget about the Carolina craftsman classic and Christmas market as well as a variety of home shows boat shows and a huge RV show.
We are close to area colleges and universities such as UNCG, A&T University, Elon University, Greensboro College and Guilford College.
Our central NC Location Hosts many sporting events including the AAU Jr. Olympics competitions with events from track and field to events at the Aquatic Center.
Visit the ACC Hall of Champions year-round not just during the ACC basketball tournaments (Men's Basketball is being hosted in 2027 and 2029) (Women's Acc Basketball 2025.) Many youth athletic events from swimming, soccer, baseball, and wrestling (Super-32 Tournament.)
Easy access to neighboring towns such as High Point, Winston-Salem and Burlington NC which also have many historical sites and host events such as the High Point furniture market.
North Carolina is the home of NASCAR many fans stay here while visiting Martinsville Speedway which is approximately 60 miles from the campground.
While here visit Richard Petty Museum, visit Richard Childress Racing or the Childress Winery for lunch.
In the summer you can visit Bowman-Grey Stadium in Winston-Salem for some head-to-head racing action.
Possibly you enjoy relaxing and fishing in many of the area lakes which have an abundance of game fish and host fishing tournaments such as the Piedmont bass classic.
