LeJog training - Jasper Disaster Loop

LeJog training: Last Saturday of the month, January - June. The first two days and the last two days of the LeJog (Lands End to John O'Groats) have a lot of elevation. Need some hilly days for training? Joins us to do the Jasper Disaster Loop on the Last Saturday of the month, January-June. All are welcome. Old Fat Man rule applies (regrouping at the end of the 3 big climbs and in Ponca).

Arkansas Hot Air Balloon State Championship

The Hot Air Balloon Festival will kick off on Friday evening at the Anstaff Soccer Complex in Harrison, Arkansas, on Friday, September 12, 2025. There will be a Free concert, a Balloon Glow and Vendors. The event will continue Saturday morning with Balloon Race Competitions. Saturday evening, the festivities will continue at the Anstaff Soccer Complex. Balloons will be tethered for the Balloon Glow and Tethered Balloon rides. Music, food, Petting Zoo & Camel Rides, Bounce Houses, Helicopter rides, and fun for the entire family. The event will conclude Sunday morning with Balloon Race Competitions. Come experience the "Hot Air Balloon Adventure" with us! ADMISSION IS FREE. Please note that the best time and place to view the hot air balloons flying on Saturday and Sunday mornings is from approximately 7:00 am - 9:00 am at the First Baptist Church at 1400 S. Pine St.

Wings of Pride Air Show

The Wings of Pride Air Show in Branson, MO will be held on Labor Day weekend in 2025, Aug 30 & 31. The Blue Angels are known worldwide for their high energy and precision flying. Expect a spectacular show: including a Fat Albert, C-130 Super Hercules flight demonstration, followed by six F-18 Super Hornets, showcasing military precision demonstrations both on the ground and in the air. Additional demonstrations and performances will be announced on Saturday 8/30 & Sunday 8/31. Parking Opens at 8:00 am. Shuttle services begin at 8:30 am. Gates open at 9 am. Aerial performances are scheduled to begin at 10:30 am. Gates close at 5 pm. Get your tickets today!
