Bluegrass Pugfest

Picture this - the Kentucky Exposition Center is filled with 3,000 pet lovers and over 2,000 dogs. That's exactly what you can expect at the Bluegrass Pugfest! This annual event begins with a crowning ceremony for the Pug King & Queen, then follows with educational sessions, costume contests, live musical entertainment, a pug custard eating contest, a blessing of the pugs by a local chaplin, a silent auction, pug races, a pug talent contest and much more.
The event was previously held in Milwaukee as Milwaukee Pugfest for 15 consecutive years before moving to Kentucky.

The Kentucky State Fair is an 11-day celebration of Kentucky agriculture, culture, and fun held at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. At the fair you'll find more than 600,000 visitors each year enjoying a wide range of attractions — from livestock shows, horse competitions, and blue-ribbon contests, to thrill rides, concerts, vendor exhibits, and Deep-fried culinary treats.
