Atlantic Balloon Fiesta

Sussex, NB E4G 2V5Make Sussex KOA your base camp for one of Southern New Brunswick's most iconic events—the Atlantic Balloon Fiesta! Feel the excitement as hot air balloonists from around the world take to the skies, with some balloons even landing right here at our campground or at our sister site, the Sussex Drive-In. From Wednesday to Sunday, the magic happens twice a day: breathtaking early-morning launches around 7 AM and enchanting evening flights at 6 PM. And with the festival launch field only 2 km away, you couldn't be closer to the action! There's plenty to enjoy at the festival grounds, but the fun doesn't stop there—Sussex KOA offers tons of daytime activities to keep the whole family entertained between launches. Your unforgettable Balloon Fiesta weekend starts right here!

A Deposit of your first night's stay is due and billed to your credit card at time of booking (except for special weekends whereby two nights will be billed minimum).
Reservations made for Special weekends are to be paid in full at the time of the booking and are non-refundable change of dates will not be accommodated within these three weekends.

Sussex Fundy Fest - July 17th & July 18th. 2 day minimum booking: Non-Cancellable Days are : Friday, July 17th & Saturday, July 18th & Sunday, July 19th.
Sussex Flea Market - August 13 - August 16. No Minimum booking Non-Cancellable Days are: Thur August 13 & Friday Aug 14 & Sat August 15 & Sun August 16.
Atlantic Balloon Fiesta Sept 10th- Sept 13th. 2-day minimum booking. Non-Cancellable Days are Thur Sept 10 & Fri Sept 11 & Sat Sept 12 & Sun Sept 13th.
Long Weekends:
Victoria Day Weekend - Monday May 18th. Non-Cancelable Days are: Fri May 15th, Sat May 16th, Sun May 17th, Mon May 18th
Canada Day Weekend - Wednesday, July 1 - Non-Cancelable Days are: Fri June 26th, Sat June 27th, Sun June 28th, Mon June 29th, Tue June 30th, Wed July 1st.
New Brunswick Day - Monday, August 3 - Non-Cancelable Days are : Fri July 31st, Sat Aug 1st, Sun Aug 2nd, Mon Aug 3rd.
Labour Day Weekend - Monday, September 7 -Non-Cancelable Days are: Fri Sept 4th, Sat Sept 5th, Sun Sept 6th, Mon Sept 7th.
Reservations made for Long weekends have no minimum stay, however there are no refunds or change of dates for these 4 holiday weekends. These weekends are non- refundable.
There are no refunds for early check outs.
Please ensure that you have travel insurance to cover any travel interruptions due to health, weather, mechanical, or any other instances.
National Cancellation Guideline: To guarantee your campsite, a deposit equal to at least your first night will be charged to your credit card at the time you make your reservation.
Need to Cancel? If you need to cancel your reservation, please email sussexcampground@gmail.com before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund, minus a $20 cancellation fee (plus taxes). No refunds on long weekends or special weekends.
Reservations made after these deadlines require non-refundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.
RV &Tent Sites: 7 day cancellation notice is required. Notify your KOA by 3 p.m. 7 days before your scheduled arrival.
Camping Cabins : 14 days cancellation notice required. Please notify your KOA two weeks before your scheduled arrival.
Reservations made after these deadlines require non-refundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.
