History, adventure and relaxation come together at Washington DC/Capitol KOA Holiday, your year-round DC base camp perfect for exploring the nation's capital. An easy drive to the National Mall, Smithsonian museums and the White House, this campground offers the best of both worlds—proximity to DC with the peaceful escape of the outdoors. Our RV sites accommodate rigs up to 70 feet and our pool is open May 22 to September 7. With your hosts, Recreational Adventures Co., you'll experience presidential treatment at every turn.

Ways to Stay
No matter how you camp, we've got the perfect spot. Pull-thru and back-in RV sites with full hookups offer plenty of space while Camping Cabins provide a rustic retreat. Deluxe Cabins include full bathrooms and kitchens for extra comfort, and tent campers can enjoy shaded sites with easy access to amenities.

Amenities
Settle in with Wi-Fi, clean bathrooms with hot showers, laundry facilities and a KOA store stocked with essentials. Kids will love the jumping pillow, giant chess and basketball court while families can enjoy outdoor movie nights and weekend activities. RV guests have access to 50 max-amp hookups, site escorts and firewood delivery, and KampK9® keeps your four-legged campers happy.

Recreation
Start the day with a short drive to Washington DC's famous landmarks. Back at camp, take a dip in the pool (seasonal), challenge friends to a game of ping pong, horseshoes and basketball, or relax by the fire. Be sure to check out our scheduled weekend activities throughout the season, including Christmas in July and spooky Halloween weekends.

Policies

Cancellation Policy:  If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.  

Cancellation Deadlines:

•RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.  

•Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.
